see though, that's the thing with CL, newspapers or greensheet. if it's not a company doing the postings it's usually the owner posting a higher price. go in, look at it and compare it to what you've found and low ball them. they want 950 say 850, they say 925 say 900. there was one apartment i looked at that was a 2bdrm right on white oak with a nice view of downtown that i looked at and they wanted 950. my guy offered 875 but someone else scooped it up for 900 right after me. as;ldkfja;sd but thats the way it goes. still hoping another 1bdrm opens up there so i can snag it quick.
