What is Stuffed Chicken Serenbe. A little background. So, I do some blogging for Char-Broil and they asked some of the bloggers from around the country to come down to this resort community outside of Atlanta called Serenbe. They gave us a little company overview and then had us do some cooking, including a "Chopped" competition. We were paired off in groups of two. Myself and a guy from New York, Christo Gonzales were paired together and we won.

This is most of the dish we won with. I say most, because we put this on an orange, fennel and grilled pineapple salad and for the life of me, I have no idea the ratios. But this is the main course.

Lawsuit seeks to close Galleria-area strip club

In a new episode of the long-running battle between sexually oriented businesses and government officials, attorneys for Harris County and the city of Houston filed a lawsuit Wednesday seeking to have the Treasures strip club declared a public nuisance and shut down.

"Treasures is an epicenter of illegal activity," Harris County Attorney Vince Ryan, who filed on behalf of the state of Texas, said on Wednesday. "This is to close down one very big operation that impacts the community around it."

The filing alleges that 5647 Westheimer is the location of human trafficking, habitual prostitution and drug activity where owners, management and employees engage in "gang related organized criminal activities that constitute a public nuisance." The petition lists 40 offenses, mostly prostitution, documented at the club over the last four years. How many of those cases resulted in charges or convictions is unclear.

Early this afternoon Montgomery County Sheriff�s Department SIU swooped down on a large hydroponic marijuana grow operation on FM 1488 at the Waller/ Montgomery County line. They arrested Danielle Hagler, 30, of Spring, John Daniel, 34 of Plantersville and John Vinson, 36 of Magnolia. All three are being booked into the Montgomery County Jail on Possession of Marijuana charges, in addition to Engaging in Organized Crime.
The mobile home which sat on several acres was surrounded by hundreds of tree saplings which had an irrigation system connected to each. A pond behind the mobile home had a large pump to supply the water. The appearance of being a tree farm. But once inside it was a different story. The entire fourteen by sixty mobile home contained 238 marijuana plants and a very elaborate lighting system complete with a watering system. Lights and umbrellas hung in every room.
Centerpoint energy was called out to disconnect the underground power to the home when a disconnect could not be located. Centerpoint found it almost 200 yards from the home on a large commercial panel along FM 1488. According to Centerpoint records the average usage for the home was 9,500 kwh per month. An average large home uses 3000 per month.
SIU Deputies were assisted by Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables Office and Grimes County Precinct 3 and 4 Constable Ann Weaks. Montgomery County Auto Theft and the Montgomery County District Attorney�s Office.
According to Montgomery County SIU Lt.Phillip Cash Mexican marijuana goes for about $400 a pound here in Montgomery County. However, the hydroponic marijuana, which is popular among high school and college students go for almost $5,500 a pound. When matured, which many of the plants were they yield almost a pound each.

The Republican Party of Texas is close to finalizing a deal that will bring a nationally televised Republican Presidential Debate to Houston, TX on May 24th, 2012. The debate will be the first one held since the March 3, 2012 hosted in Wilmington Air Park in Wilmington, Ohio. Now, is the perfect time to have another Presidential Debate as 1,001 delegates are still up for grabs. These delegates could change the course of the entire Republican race.

It would cause great shame to the Republican Party to deny the constituents of these states a final debate that includes all continuing candidates as such could set clear the platforms of each candidate. With politically minded lineups on both sides of the fence, it is imperative that the constituents know EXACTLY where the candidates stand on the issues that face America as well as their respective states. New details come out about the platforms of the candidates on a daily basis and it is impossible to keep up with the updates. A public debate can clarify confusion.
